This service aims to teach our participants the skills to travel within the community with confidence and independence. We know how difficult it can be to travel to places without the right knowledge, regarding reading timetables to identify the correct public transport routes. At AUSTCARE, our goal is to help our participants develop relevant skills to access and travel using public transport.
Austcare assisted travel with transport will also enable your family members or loved one to travel with an experienced nurse after surgery or support worker to accommodate you with any appointments.
We can support you with a range of Travel and Transport Assistance including driving you to and from appointments, assist with grocery shopping and getting you to and from activities and events.
As part of our friendly team, you will be supported through our care teams including Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Assistant in nursing, Disability Support Worker, Home Care and Domestic Assistance.
